Has anyone else read this?

This is funny for about 30 seconds. The problem is the court is seriously, seriously trying to get this right, they are begging to have this explained...they know this needs reform, but also need the respondent to present in a way they can understand.

Mr. Perry (representing the respondent) really does his best to answer their questions, but some of the justices, wanting an analogous explanation, still don't get it. What we, as good developers, have learned to do is explain this in ways that make sense to others that don't look at code everyday... what Mr. Perry (and every respondent or petitioner in future circumstances) really needs is a the best of that... it seems dumb, but read how many pages/minutes are wasted trying to clear up the various levels of confusion.

Seriously, read the entire argument... or, slightly less work, search for "Mr. Perry" and read his responses to the questions posed. I wish, spending a lot of time trying to come up w/ situational analogies to provide to clients... It's easy to criticize a manuscript of court dialogue, but why not try and help?

Any ideas on how to curate? Any idea how to get lawyers to read this? This is in all of our best interests.

or just chuck it in the comments... we can always work out the broadcast later...
